In N\u00fcrnberg (Reichelsdorf) existiert eine traditionelle Radrennbahn. Leider muss ich sagen, habe ich es erst gestern zum ersten Mal geschafft bei so einem Rennen dabei zu sein. Eine wirklich coole Veranstaltung.<\/p>\n

Begonnen hat es mit den Junioren, dann mit einem Bahnradrennen, dem Finale des Radsport Duschl Cups. Gefahren wird die ganze Zeit auf Anschlag und alle paar Runden werden in einer Sprintwertung Punkte oder Barpr\u00e4mien vergeben, was f\u00fcr einen spannenden Rennverlauf sorgt. Aufgrund des hohen Tempos von 45-55km\/h wird in einer halben Stunde ordentlich Distanz zur\u00fcckgelegt. Eine Eigenschaft haben hier die Bahnr\u00e4der, es gibt n\u00e4mlich nur einen Gang und keine Bremse. Dadurch muss man st\u00e4ndig mittreten, einen Leerlauf, wie bei \u00fcblichen Rennr\u00e4dern gibt es nicht.<\/p>\n

Das gro\u00dfe Finale bildet dann das Steherrennen \u00fcber etwas mehr als 30km. Mithilfe von Motorr\u00e4dern (Stehern) fegen die Athleten mit teils 80 km\/h \u00fcber die Piste. Fragt mich nicht welchen Gang die R\u00e4der installiert hatten, er sah riesig aus!!<\/div>\n

Jeder Fahrer hat seinen eigenen Schrittmacher hinter dem er das Rennen bestreitet. Dabei ist es extrem wichtig das beide ein eingespieltes Team sind. Der kleinste Fahrfehler kann schwere Folgen haben. Wenn z.b. ein Fahrer aus dem Windschatten f\u00e4llt, ist es schneller aus als man bis 3 z\u00e4hlen kann.<\/div>\n
