Es ist erstaunlich dick, was mich aber nicht davon abgehalten hat es durchzulesen. F\u00fcr jeden sehr empfehlenswert der Triathlon mit dem Ironman auf Hawaii verbindet. Vom Beginn des Rennens Ende der Achtziger Jahre bis heute werden die Geschichte um das Rennen und auch deren zeitweilige Hauptakteure\/innen vorgestellt. Dabei erz\u00e4hlt jeder seine pers\u00f6nliche Geschichte und stellt auch seine Lieblingstrainingseinheiten vor. Garniert mit motivierenden Bildern ein rundum gelungenes Buch.<\/p>\n<p>Wer es lieber noch handfester mag, dem empfehle ich das Buch von Chris McCormack: I`m here to win. Ebenfalls erschienen bei spomedis. Einigen wird zwar nicht immer gefallen was er schreibt, inkl. mir, aber er ist ein einzigartiger Charakter der kein Blatt vor den Mund nimmt. Im Buch werden sogar seine kompletten Trainingspl\u00e4ne zur Ironman-Vorbereitung dargestellt.
