In memory of Anita Wiedemann from Team Nuremberg Hospital<\/a> The 3rd swim and run took place at Birkensee this year. The entry fees go to 100% to the "Girls' meeting in Nuremberg"<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That I was there on Saturday, despite no training in the past two weeks, of course. Thanks to the organizers of the Bruns family and the Nuremberg Clinic team, it was again well prepared. Alone or as a couple in a relay, it first went over a 400m course in Birkensee and then directly on a demanding 5km run through the Reichswald. Since I took on the running part last year, this time I tended to swim more. That was also less strenuous. Hannes Schmidt<\/a> arranged for me by my runner Peter, who was just sitting on the bike and now had to come to Birkensee without further ado \ud83d\ude09 <\/p>\n

It started at 1pm sharp and I went into the water. As a tribute to all Frankfurt starters, I didn't wear anything apart from my short swimming trunks and really froze in the water and especially afterwards \ud83d\ude09 A few minutes later I handed it over to Peter, who was not running as easily as previously announced. After almost 20 minutes he was back and to our surprise we even took 3rd place in the relay. That Werner Bruns even got prizes for it, which is amazing, considering the character of the event. <\/p>\n

A great event that will hopefully attract many more participants next year. I can only warmly recommend it to everyone, especially newcomers to sports.<\/p>\n
