It was that time again and this morning I tied my backpack for the duathlon in Hiltpoltstein. We started the race at 1:46 pm in beautiful weather and I was excited to see what to expect, since I was contesting the duathlon in Hilpoltstein for the first time. Great organization and cake buffet !!<\/p>\n

What took my breath away, however, was the first run split! It had more vertical meters than the entire bike route \ud83d\ude09 But very scenic, if you had time to enjoy.
\nAfter a little more than 8 kilometers, the ghost was over and I was completely satisfied with my performance. Unfortunately, the competition then continued \ud83d\ude09 On the bike, I honestly have to admit, I noticed today that I still lacked the hard units, so I couldn't ride as I would have liked. As a result, I lost a few places and finally crossed the finish line in 14th place. But all in all it was a nice day of competition, which now introduces the hot phase, the last 8 weeks of the challenge preparation. Rock'n roll !!!<\/p>\n

What made me particularly happy was that my two athletes Michael and Daniel were each able to improve by several minutes compared to the previous year, even though there was a lot more wind on the track this year. Michael almost caught up with me, only a cramp prevented worse things from happening \ud83d\ude09 Tobi, my club colleague from the VFL Triteam N\u00fcrnberg, finished third, congratulations!<\/p>\n
