Above you can see the presentation of the different racing formats for the event - around the old town of Nuremberg - during the official press conference. In the middle, of course, is the team of two for ours Run & Bike!<\/b> Don't ask me what the other two men in blue and green represent, it's called the Derny Race. If you want to know more about it, just go to Wikipedia.<\/p>\n

The GfK<\/a> becomes the official sponsor of Run & Bike and thus actively supports me in running the race. Look forward to lots of great prizes!<\/p>\n

It starts on September 12th. at 12:30 on the main market. You can see the route through the city center here and then the elevation profile. Ignore the number of laps, for the Run & Bike 2.5 laps are completed on the normal distance (8km) and 1.5 laps on the trial distance (4.5km).<\/p>\n

The mode is perhaps already familiar to most of you: two runners share a bike and take turns running at will. So, one drives while the other \u201crests\u201d and cycles. The two must not be more than 10 meters apart. A pure team race, so to speak, that is also a lot of fun. \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

The route is completely closed and is lined with tens of thousands of spectators.<\/b> Of course, these don't all come just for the Run & Bike, but also to watch the bike race, which is definitely not as exciting as our event \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

So far, almost 30 teams have registered, including our celebrity team: Prof. W\u00fcbbenhorst (GfK board member) and Dr. Gsell (Mayor of the City of Nuremberg) So let's go! The distances are really manageable for everyone and a nice event is also offered for the fast ones. After the race we will all meet at the main market to officially honor the participants.<\/p>\n

The entry fee for each participant is 10 \u20ac, but there is a completely closed route through the city center, thousands of spectators, pictures, certificates, meal vouchers, prizes and lots of fun!<\/p>\n
