At the weekend the time has come, the next long distance is very close! Some of us cycle down from Nuremberg to Regensburg on Saturday and up again on Sunday, if you want to join, just report ... of course not just those who take part in the race, you'd better drive your car \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Spectator guide<\/b>
Here are the ultimate and secret spectator tips for the Ironman Regensburg! Who, like me, is in the beautiful cathedral city for the first time and wants to watch the race, here are the recommendations from Local hero: Ralf Preissl<\/b><\/p>\n

Swimming: Is self-explanatory - you can walk outside the lake and be there up close, not just when you get off the athlete

Cycling: Is a bit of a problem because of. the line closures. If you are out and about by bike,…<\/span>t you rel. just get to Sulzbach (3km after Donaustauf), where the first ascent begins. On the Danube Cycle Path you can easily get straight into town (10km). If you are traveling by car then the point at Hagelstadt might be a good option. This can be reached via the B15. Here the athletes drive up an approx. 400m long mountain at the entrance to the village - you can get there from the B15 (parking) after approx. 500m footpath. You can then drive straight into Regensburg on the B15 (Hagelstadt - Alteglosfheim - K\u00f6fering - Obertraubling - Burgweinting - Regensburg)

Running: The whole route is interesting here. There will be quite a lot going on right in the city center, there is also moderation here and in the finish area. In the area at km 4 you can see the runners twice in one lap. (is also only 1.5km away from the start of the run). It is certainly more relaxed in the area of the Westbadweiher. Just take a blanket with you, have a picnic and kick the battered bodies on the route in the A ... \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
