Hey guys,<\/p>\n

First of all, take off your hats to Thomas Hofmann, my club colleague at the VFL Triteam N\u00fcrnberg, who did his very first duathlon today and won it right away! He also won the title of Middle Franconian duathlon champion in Burgoberbach. Extremely surprising when you consider that his half marathon time is "ONLY" 1:12 hours! \ud83d\ude09
I won the runner-up title, but that Thomas took more than 2 minutes from me, I prefer to keep it quiet here ... laugh<\/p>\n

First five quite undulating running kilometers were completed, before it went on a crisp 24 kilometers on the bike in sharp bends around the villages around Burgoberbach and finally again on the 5km run.<\/p>\n

Today I wanted to test my equipment for the league operations and drove the route with my snazzy racing bike. Here is the competition from my perspective:<\/div>\n

Go ahead, let's go! oleeeeee
km 1: oh man, everyone is running like the devil again, slowly I slide right and left through the runners until I land on fourth place
km 2: so, now I'm at least third ... but what is my club colleague Thomas doing there, he's been gone for at least 20 seconds !!
km 3: phew, now it's going to be pretty exhausting up the mountain again, now I'm the second runner, but Thomas hurries me step by step, no chance.<\/p>\n

km 4: Shit, now the "flyweight" \ud83d\ude09 from W\u00fcrzburg overtakes me, I'll just stick with it!
km 5: Thank goodness, finally the first change, another meter more and I passed out, somehow it doesn't work today. Well, when I look into the faces of the others, some of them are probably even worse than me ...<\/p>\n

RadKM 5: well, once again a terrible change, now I've at least set off, I'm currently in 4th place
RadKM 8: wuuuuusscchhhhh, and away they fly, my trailer pads! It doesn't exist, I only unscrewed it today !! Great, now my forearms are on the much too short trailer, right on the screws \ud83d\ude09
RadKM 9: that's enough, on the mountain I pass 4th place and am third again.
RadKM 10: what sounds so suspiciously like a disk back there ??? there are two pusher boys who just fly past me ... hasta la vista ...
RadKM 15: I should drink too ...
RadKM 18: somehow it's nice here, I'm making myself comfortable in my 5th place \ud83d\ude42
RadKM 22: like now, someone comes from behind!? ... ok, but until the second change I don't stress myself anymore
RadKM 24: Finally the start \/ finish area comes back, actually I want to lie down in the meadow and sleep. When I was 6, I got off my bike.<\/p>\n

km 1: I notice that it is getting really exhausting the second time, but somehow I get closer to the ones in front of me.
km 2: oh no, now I'm only 5 meters away from number 5, but now you have to run krelli!
km 3: I'm past the 4th runner, too, can I see Stefan Daehne in the corner of my eye ?? The Stefan who has to work 60 hours a week that I interviewed for my book? Oh yes, it is and he is right behind me, all right, Stefan is a dear guy, but I'm not going to let him pass today! You run lazy socks again !!
km 4: this is what suffering looks like ?? At least that's what the audience will think, seeing the look on my face now ... laughing
km 5 and goal:\u2026 make way, I have to lie down first !! Waiter! two colas intravenously please, and one of the tangerine quark cake!<\/p>\n
