\"\"<\/a>Hi Guys,<\/p>\n

in a heavily occupied field at the Rothsee Triathlon, I finished 11th. Unfortunately it didn't work out with the top 10 for today, but I'm still very satisfied! Last year I was 21st and 12 minutes behind the winner Thomas Hellriegel, today it was "only" 5 minutes \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Altogether there were probably around 1,000 starters, an insane amount when you consider that it is a short triathlon. That shows the big scene in the Roth \/ Nuremberg area, from which most of the participants came.
\nHere are the results:

When I was about 33rd I trudged out of the Rothsee after 21:27 minutes, grabbed my change bag and off we went! My club colleagues Robert and Thorsten were right behind or next to me, together we ran to the bike and due to a faster change, I was the first of the three of us to start the selective bike course. After rolling in for a few kilometers, I finally had my shoes on \ud83d\ude42 and could start pedaling.<\/p>\n

I had a bit heavy legs on the bike today, but that wasn't so bad, because I had saved a few more grains for running. In 1:02 I finished the 400 meters of elevation gain and made my way to the last part, the running track, in 16th place.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> I had a very special duel with Christoph (white). I overtook him after 500m, but he stubbornly stayed on my heels. The entire first 5km lap! I passed one by one, only Christoph, I couldn't shake him \ud83d\ude09
\nAt the beginning of the second and last 5km he suddenly turned the tables and I went from being the hunted to being a hunter again.<\/p>\n

At some point, however, \u201cKrelli\u201d the J\u00e4gersmann ran out of fuel and could only watch as Christoph made up meter by meter to finally get the top 10 place with a 20 second lead!
\nBut he had fully earned it today and in our small internal rating it is 1: 1 again.<\/p>\n

The decision will probably be made in Roth in two weeks, the challenge will be rocked! \ud83d\ude09
\nI was still very happy with my running time today, as the track was quite hilly. The runtime was 36:53.
\nOverall, I was 2:00:32 on the road, well ... then next time I should add a few more shovels to finally crack the 2 hour mark \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

But now it's the 9-hour mark and from this perspective everything is currently on target! and the tapering phase was officially ushered in.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> Above you can see me with Andi after reaching the finish line, amazing, the boy came third. Andi is a friend of Frank and both come from the \u201cLichtenfelser Rennstall\u201d, which has recently become very strong!<\/p>\n

Thorsten didn't have such a good day today and came to the finish shortly after me.<\/p>\n

... oh, before I forget, here again Don't<\/strong>:
\nDo not try out brand new shoes in competition! Although my new footwear was 100g lighter than my other shoes, I got bloody heels and the sole slipped when I put them on. An annoying feeling to run \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
