Yesterday the Rothsee Triathlon was on the program. One last form test before the Challenge Roth. The starting field was strong. In addition to last year's winner Andi Dreitz (double start Saturday / Sunday), Thomas Hellriegel was also traditionally there and this year also a Clemens Coenen and many others. The event is really great, there is a lot to offer for a fair price!
After a smooth start, I ran into the group in front of me, but couldn't get past because I had a little hangover again. After I was only in 12th place shortly before the end and I was already afraid of my goal: missing the top ten, the last 3 kilometers suddenly went better again and I ran across the finish line in a 10th place just behind Marcus Schattner.

Six of my athletes those who were at the start were all able to record new best times and placements, which of course makes me even more happy! While Nicole improved her time by a full 24 minutes, Graxi even set the second best bike time of the day, behind Hellriegel.
Thanks also for the many cheers on the track! Even if it was sometimes said behind me, "come the krelli is only 20 seconds ahead of you, you get him!";)))
