Are there any vacation days that don't bring relaxation?

... clearly yes. Yesterday I took a day off. All colleagues wished me a nice, relaxing day on Tuesday afternoon. If they only knew ...

In the morning exactly 8 o'clock I found myself in the Westbad. I didn't feel like it at all, but somehow we have to get this over with, right? 😉

So 4000m continuous swim, 2000m swim in, 5x200m competition speed and 5x100m above, swim out and that's it. Great unit, it was a bit boring in between but ended after a little more than an hour.

Home, on the way to the bakery, and have breakfast. At half past eleven I had already arranged to go cycling with Thomas. The weather was kind to us and not a single raindrop caught us. No wonder, we are also constantly driving towards the "light spots" in the cloud cover. At the beginning we decided to leave it at the basics today, including some IM tempo intervals. After 5 hours and 157km I was back home.

My last act yesterday was supposed to be a 30-minute paddock run. My legs were a little heavy, but still felt passable.
Huuuiii ... until the turning point I was on the road with a 3:40 cut. On the way back I therefore slowed down a little.

Shortly before my apartment my eyes fell on our pizzeria directly opposite. Without further ado, I ran into the restaurant and ordered a pizza to be picked up immediately (takes ten minutes). After a short shower break I trotted over and took my pizza with a dripping tooth. What a meal !!! I would have loved to have had one more. But that was canceled because our bakery on the corner offers half prices from 5pm ... you can guess what's coming 🙂
There I took two curd snails with me, as a small dessert, so to speak.

In the evening I became aware of the reason for my fast running unit, namely just at the moment when I stood on the scales. The shock was great, only 79.4kg! When I was shocked, I treated myself to two more magnums. I don't know about you, but when I run I notice every kilo less and the pace differences are clearly visible. But at some point it becomes too much and the strength when cycling and swimming dwindles.

Later I fell into bed dog-tired and didn't even hear Frank call at 9:20 pm. How can you report so late at night!

today I am amazingly fine again !!!

Above you can see a picture of an award ceremony, Thorsten, me and a young athlete ... well, and what do you do while you are "in the spotlight"? You have nothing better to do than compare your times with the others 😉
This is clearly one of the things that shouldn't be done!
So a clear don't!

the countdown is on, the Rothsee Triathlon on Sunday and then the Challenge Roth.
