Training log February

Hello everybody,

I have attached my training log from February, this time in a larger resolution so that you can see everything.
February was rather poor for us due to the adverse weather conditions. Furthermore, I was snowboarding for a few days, so the mega-sizes do not come together this time 😉

From March 1st I will get my training plans again from Bennie Lindberg, ie "Rock'n Roll"! In the meantime I am "hot as frit fat" again for the daily training. Now that the weather is slowly becoming cycle-friendly again, nothing stands in the way of this.
In mid-March I will stay on Lanzarote for a week and visit my grandma and grandpa there.
February:
54 hours
30km swim
224km run
508km bike
skin clean

  1. Hi Krelli,

wanted to know how you keep uphill driving and your pulse. Do you strictly adhere to the prescribed heart rate, or how do you achieve these low averages?
Or is it not so dramatic for you with the inclines?
For me (Gummersbach near Cologne) there is always an up and down, which makes driving evenly relatively difficult.

  2. Hi Tobi II 😉

When driving uphill, I clearly hold back a little, but it is normal for the pulse to go up a bit. Sometimes I exceed the specifications, otherwise I crawl up there 😉 But that is not worth mentioning for the average heart rate, when driving down, for example, the heart rate drops in the double-digit range. “Up and down” is actually an ideal training area 😉 most competitions have this type of profile, so you have an advantage in summer !! When driving uphill, make sure that you drive relatively slowly into the mountain, maintain your speed over the middle of the incline and accelerate again at the end, then you drive everything quite evenly. Most of them drive a full tank into the mountain and let up from the middle and upwards they are almost 😉

  3. Hey
So in the summer it is really great to train here, but now a bit inconvenient at the beginning of the year.
The way you describe it, I also hold it, i.e. as evenly as possible up the mountain. Only my pulse doesn't drop below the 100 mark ... yet;)

    greeting
    Tobi
