Aloha from Hawaii!

Hello everyone,

We have been here on this beautiful island for two days. Not only does it feel like, it's like vacation. We live in a small apartment right on the beach and Ali Drive. The participants run, cycle and swim right here at our front door, which you could get a really bad conscience.

Ha, but I don't. I take a relatively relaxed approach to training. Yesterday we went swimming in a beautiful bay, in the afternoon I cycled an hour along the highway past the Energy Lab. The flair has something special here.

The weather was quite pleasant, yesterday it was cloudy, but today the hut is burning with 35 degrees. After a hearty breakfast we will now do some shopping and then swim a few meters ...

Tomorrow it's 90km back from the turning point in Hawi to Kona. I'm curious how the wind blows and whether it is really as violent as always described. On my short ride yesterday, it didn't seem so strong to me. The conditions in Lanzarote were more intense.

On the streets here you can see Hinz and Kunz, yesterday I met an illustrious running troop, McCormack, behind them Stadler and Vuckovic. The boys had a pretty good pace 🙂

Best regards and see you soon!
