Interview with Marino Vanhoenacker

On July 4th, 2010, Marino did a terrific solo effort at the Ironman Klagenfurt and with his winning time of 7:52:04 missed the Ironman world record by just a few seconds! This was set up in 1997 by his compatriot Luc van Lierde at the Ironman Roth. In the interview the day after the competition, Marino speaks (in German) about his training and his hobby, the triathlon 😉

Coincidentally, we were in the same hotel as him, so I immediately asked him for an interview where we could relax in front of the backdrop of the Wörthersee. Unfortunately Bennie somehow had to try the zoom while recording, so the video is a bit blurry. Otherwise, while looking at it, I also find a few other things that could be improved next time 😉
