Lirdy photo action at the Rothsee Triathlon 23/24 June

Our Lirdy team will be on site at Rothsee on Saturday and Sunday!

We will run the event as a pilot project for our new site: www.lirdy.com
I hope for your support, and no, there is no catch 😉
You can exchange pictures with us "on the spot" and not afterwards, as is the case with all other photo portals. Disadvantage of the previous picture exchange portals, after the event you no longer get all the people from whom you would like to have the pictures, or it is very time-consuming. Lirdy enables you to exchange pictures with each other, instantly, securely and easily. All you need is a QR code that you can get from us for your events.
Briefly a few sentences how it works on Saturday / Sunday:
Lirdy on the spot photo sharing
You can create "events" on our site. In this case the Rothsee Triathlon. You will receive a QR code for this. You simply take a picture of it with your digicam, SLR or smartphone.
In our example: How cool would it be to be able to look at the pictures of all the spectators at Rothsee? It's especially great for the athletes, they get so many pictures of themselves (since most of them have been photographed a few times by (strangers) people) without paying anything for them, as is often the case with sports photographers at triathlons. Because they are simple spectator images.
You are now on site and want to swap pictures with others, for example with those who were at a different point on the route or had a better view of the athletes than you. All you do is the following: just go over and hold the QR code for this person Code under your nose. It is enough for the person to simply photograph your QR code from your display with their camera / smartphone. That's it, you don't need more or have to exchange emails, nothing more necessary. (To make things a little easier, we have already created a QR code and will go to the people ourselves and exchange the QR code with them. You can recognize us by the Lirdy T-shirts)
Then all the people who have photographed the QR code go up www.lirdy.com and drag the images you want to make available to others, including the image from the QR code, into the upload area. et voila, the software sorts all pictures automatically and correctly in time for the “Event Rothsee” and so gradually all viewer pictures appear on the page. For example, you can look for pictures where you as an athlete are yourself. I know, for example, that I was in the first start group and swam for about 20 minutes. So I look at the pictures from 9:20 a.m. and see if a spectator has photographed me at the swimming pool. The pictures can of course also be downloaded.
The service is free and based on voluntary participation. Everyone just puts the pictures on it that they want to share. As a little add-on: we will take pictures of each participant ourselves, so you are guaranteed to find yourself somewhere in the gallery!
Now some questions will arise, and what is in it for you? First and foremost, we want to make the site known. We want to offer a service in which people can exchange pictures with each other much more easily than before. In order to download images you have to register (username and email, nothing more), that is, of course, we expect a few users from the campaign who will continue to use the site in the future. When we are out of the pilot stage, we will add all sorts of cool features, for the use of which we charge a few euros (approx. € 2.50 / month), but the basic version will be always stay free! Because like so much on the Internet, our site only works with active participation and to ensure that the service is free of charge.
If you are at the competition on the weekend, it would be cool if you just take part. Thank you!!
