The special thing about the camp is that everyone can come and go when they want. During the period mentioned above, I am on site as a trainer. In addition, 1 to 2 additional trainers as required. As you know with me, you are again super flexible and can freely choose your desired period. Whether you stay 5 days or the entire period is up to you. I am not a tour operator, so I do not give fixed travel dates. My goal is that everyone has fun, can enjoy great training, but can also break away from the group and explore the island on their own.

All my athletes, their families and friends are of course invited. The Coral Beach Hotel in Paphos is an exclusive 4.5 star sports hotel with its own 50m open water pool and is located directly on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. A calm and large bay that is always suitable for open water swimming even in January when the water temperature is 20 degrees.

The following is offered to you:
- Daily cycling & running training (focus is of course on cycling)
- Swimming 3x / week (the pool is heated to 26 degrees)
- 1x / week open water swimming (bring your neo)
- Athletics / circuit training 1x / week
- Use of the gym & sauna at any time

- During swimming training we will also shoot underwater videos of everyone and analyze them with you
- Lectures: we have the experts there, on request we can deal with special topics in more detail in the evening in a relaxed atmosphere
- A lot of fun!

Weather:
The weather is mostly sunny and over 20 degrees during the day. That means you can almost always drive short / short. Unless we go up to Olympus, at an altitude of 2000m. The terrain is a bit more demanding and ranges from flat to mountainous, but there is always an ascent somewhere. You will therefore go home with a lot of strength in your legs and then the asphalt will burn in summer 🙂

Prices & Booking:

Except for a manageable flat rate for coaches, I just pass the costs on. Therefore probably much cheaper than the classic training camps.

My system

Training is not a wellness program, but it is efficient and effective. I look after a manageable number of athletes, but then I work intensively and above all personally. All plans come straight from my pen and not via software portals. The spectrum of the athletes I supervise ranges from the professionally very busy triathlon beginner to the sub9 athlete on the long distance.

The coaching includes the complete training control, based on a weekly training plan that is created in consultation with you. We take your private and professional appointments into account. I am always available for questions and feedback,

Phone. I ask for written feedback at the end of each training week at the latest. Without sufficient feedback, optimal training control is not possible. Therefore there are no communication restrictions with me compared to other training offers. As a trainer, I only know what my protégés are up to with regular and frequent feedback. And only then can the training plan be optimally designed and the athlete achieves his full performance potential.

In addition, we regularly conduct field tests to monitor your performance progress. That helps you and me to get used to us as a team.

Michael Krell - portrait

Born in beautiful Waldenburg, I grew up with my two brothers. After graduating from high school, I went to the University of Bamberg to study "European Economy". As part of my studies abroad, I spent two years in New Zealand, which I completed with a Master of Business (MBA). In 2006 I completed my studies in Bamberg as a business graduate.

Before I finally found my way to triathlon, I was active in ski jumping at the age of 5-12, later played football in my youth and then lacrosse in the German Bundesliga during my studies. My triathlon career began in 2005 with my first run, the wonderful and exhausting half marathon through Bamberg's old town. After that there was no stopping me and a year later I was at the start of the Challenge Roth for the first time. Incidentally, what I would not do today is to go to the long distance immediately after a year. Although I didn't miss a rookie mistake and stormed off as if on a short distance, in the end I made it to the finish line happily.

My focus was quickly on qualifying for the Ironman Hawaii, but from then on I was also working. No sooner said than done and after one or two bumpy attempts I won the Hawaii qualification at the Ironman Zurich in 2008.

After Hawaii I got it into my head to try to do a long distance in under 9 hours. What could be closer than my house race in Roth, there I knew every stone on the track, every second spectator by first name and was able to sleep at home last night. In 2009 I reached this goal and with a total time of 8:54 I wasn't even the last. In 2013 I was able to go one better with 8:47. The year 2014 started quite well. In Lauingen I became the Bavarian champion over the middle distance. On the other hand, my chain broke after the first lap at Challenge Roth. But of course it goes on and on ...

In preparation for the Ironman Hawaii in 2008, I discovered the fun of writing. In addition to numerous articles in blogs, tri-mag.de, triathlon.de and specialist magazines (Triathlon Magazin, Loox Sportmagazin, etc.), I look together with my publisher spomedis meanwhile back to three book publications.

Triathlon for professionals"Was published in May 2010, and became the most successful German-language triathlon book in 2010 and 2011. In November 2012 my second book"Triathlon training sessions for professionals“In which I describe over 100 highly effective units with which even professionals or athletes with limited time can exploit their full performance potential. This is also the most successful book to date and is still on the bestseller rankings to this day. My current book "Competition strategies in triathlon“Was published in June 2014 and covers strategies and tactics in competition from beginners to professionals.

After my studies, I worked as a marketing consultant at GfK SE for five years until 2011. I used to work alongside work, but now I'm full-time and have been a licensed triathlon trainer for many years.

I am still an enthusiastic triathlete myself and am aiming for my best time of 8:30 hours on the long distance. There is more about it regularly on mine blog to read.
