Lanza I'm coming !!

Hi guys,

In the picture above you can see Puerto del Carmen on Lanzarote, my soon one-week domicile. After a stressful week at work, vacation is finally getting closer. Lanzarote can come. A week of sun, wind in your hair, endless kilometers and eating delicious things all day. Gone are the dreary rainy days, the freezing cold in the gloves and the wet cycling socks!

Speaking of wet cycling socks, the weather at the weekend was shitty! On Saturday I did my 30km running test, 3 laps: 1st lap 140-145HF, 2nd lap 145-150HF and third lap 155-160HF. The result, smoothly 2:18 hours. Of course it poured out of buckets and I have to admit that I only ran so fast at the end because I wanted to finish faster, it was so corrosive with wet shoes and socks on the muddy paths to run.

Sunday it was actually even worse, but this time it was just cycling and I took my grandfather's tip to heart (the best tip of the year) and tied his garbage bags around my legs. In addition, armed with rain, the bike ride was a dream, I found my new "trousers" so cool that I made every cyclist I met on the way aware of it. If you have to try it out when it rains, simply wrap the bags over them and neatly with adhesive tape around your legs, et voila; Cycling in the rain is no longer a problem!

Today I got my plan for Lanzarote from Bennie, I tell you a dream. About 30 hours, both quality and quantity. I mean, what else should I do all day 😉 Unfortunately I don't have any "colleagues" this time, but alone I do the training at least more disciplined than with so many other things. The training trip quickly turns into an elimination race 😉

Incidentally, I will soon welcome the 10,000 visitor to this blog! At the beginning I would never have thought that the stuff I publish here would interest anyone, but apparently I was wrong. Of course I'm happy about it like a snow king! 🙂

so get in until the days!
